The central of optimizing a transport chain is to determine through which roads products are going to be shipped so that the demand is met and the total cost of the chain is minimal. The planning of this chain requires then an understandable and detailed map which leads to a description of its configuration, volumes, flows and costs of every flow and node in the chain.
Thus the organizational modeling approach takes place, since it allows representing this chain from its entities, activities, processes, functions, structures and behaviors.
The objective of this article is to present a modeling using process of an international transport chain. We tried, first, to identify all the processes constituting this chain. Then, in the second place, we tried to present these processes through a simulation tool named SIMPROCESS.
