The talk will begin with the scaling description of ageing systems far from equilibrium, and I shall use simple magnets and growing interfaces as paradigmatic examples.
A dictionary with their analogies will be given. I shall use the recently-defined Arcetri model as an exactly solvable case study and shall then discuss possible extensions of dynamical scaling towards local scale-invariance.
